Local and Family Owned<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to Ole’s Woodworking, where we combine the promise of old world quality with the benefits of modern manufacturing. Ole (Hans Ulrich) Stever apprenticed in Germany at a shop that had been in business for about 350 years (by the 1940’s) and his test cabinetry piece ranked second place in his region of Saxony in an annual evaluation of over 300 graduating apprentices. Seventy-five years later his cabinet is still in use. In 1967 he struck out on his own in Prince George and built his shop calling it Ole’s Woodworking. In the early 2000’s his sons Peter and Chris took over the business and upgraded it to computerized design and automated cutting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now passing skills onto the third generation, Ole’s Woodworking continues to be a leader in the millwork industry, supporting apprentices entering the trade and building functional and stylish cabinetry that stands the test of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doors, drawer fronts, and top made from solid wood strips glued together, hand-planed to thickness, framed with solid elm, laminated with a beech veneer cross ply and a top elm decorative veneer.
